Japanese!
Hey guys! So, Lilly is teaching you French down below but I've just been in touch with a new language that I fand really interesting. So I just started Karate and I thought I had to teach a little bit of Japanese (though I'm not quite a wiz myself, I do know the basics)
Numbers
I will write the number, then how it's spelt in Japanese and the the Pronunciation.
1 (number) ichi (Japanese how you write it) itchy (English how you pronounce it)
2-ni-nee
3-san-san
4-shi-she
5-go-go
6-ruku-roke
7-shichi-sitch
8-hachi-hatch
9-ku-ker
10-ju-jer
It's a little bit confusing but try and practice it and you'll be counting in Japanese!
Good luck!

Starting Again...
When you're learning a new language, think of yourself as a baby learning to speak. You may know nothing of the language but by listening to others and always keep trying, you'll eventually be a pro!
To start off, you just need to learn simple key words like: Hello, Goodbye, Thank you, No, Yes etc...
Once you get the hang of that, you can move onto phrases like: How are you?, Where is ..., What is your name?, My name is... etc...
Then you can begin learning to write these things and read! It sounds easy doesn't it? Well give it a try!!!
Lets begin to work on our French. Love, Venus, Ruby and I all learn this in school so we'll be able to help you. To start with, here are some key words...
Hello = Bonjour
Hi = Salut
Goodbye = Au revoir
Thank you = Merci
Yes = Oui
No = Non
However, this won't really help unless you know how to pronounce these words correctly. So here I have attempted to write how you should pronounce it if that is at all understandable!
Salut = Saloo
Au revoir = Orevwa
Merci = Mersee
Oui = Wee
Non = Noh
The reason the pronunciation of the word bonjour is not listed is the fact that it is very difficult to write. It sounds very much like bonjaw however the j makes a slightly different sound. Try asking a teacher, friend or family member how to say it.
Les Numéros
(The numbers)
1 = Un 2 = deux 3 = trois 4 = quatre 5 = cinq 6 = six 7 = sept 8 = huit 9 = neurf 10 = dix
Pronunciation
Un = ah deux = der trois = twa quatre = catra cinq = sank six = sees sept = set huit = weet neurf = nerf dix=dis
These are just a few simple words in French. Take the first step as a baby slow and steadily. When you get the hang of it, start to speed up and run. We'll show you more soon but for now, keep practicing these!

Salut everyone! Me again! I think it's time to move on now but we'll leave up the last things so you can revise!
Next, we're going to look at simple pharses. Soon you'll be saying full sentences!!
ça va? = Can be used to say how are you or I'm good. (E.g sentence: Sammy> Bonjour Sophie ça va? Sophie> ça va bien merci! )
Comment t'appelles tu? = can be used to say what's your name?
Je m'appelle = can be used to say I am called...
And now here's how to pronounce them...
ça va? = sa va
Comment t'appelles tu = Comma tapels chew
Je m'appelle = this has the the funny j again! But the m'appelle bit is ma pel.
So that's all for today. Keep on revising these words and phrases... Au revoir!!!
BONJOUR! Lilly here! I have managed to find the time to come along and teach some more french! So now I want to start on a topic that we studied a while ago in school - food! Yes that is something that I dearly love and obviously wouldn't be able to live without! So let's start with the verb...
So, the verb 'to eat' is Manger! which is really difficult to write down how to pronounce this word - its a litte like Bonjour!
Mon - awkward sound- ay! Just look it up on google translate, Type in Manger then press the little speaker button to hear the person say it - simples.
So anyway, if you wish to say " I eat" you would simply write "Je Mange" (je = I). MAKE SURE YOU GET RID OF THE 'R'
Then you can just play around with different foods...
Je mange "insert food here"
then you can develop your sentence by saying why you eat it.
Je mange "insert food here" parce que c'est délicieux!
parce que = because
c'est = it is
délicieux = delicious
Sowly, you will be able to really build up your sentences!
Bonjour! Je m'appelles Lilly - et toi? Pour lespetit déjeuner, je mange "insert food here" parce que c'est délicieux!
Aussi, je mange "insert food here"
okay so I added a couple of new words to that sentence - allow me to transate...
et toi - and you
Pour - for
Petit déjeuner - breakfast
aussi - also
so you now know how to say breakfast, but you might want to know lunch and dinner too!
déjeuner = lunch
dîner = dinner
You may have noticed that breakfast and lunch are pretty similar. Well basically, breakfast in french (Petit déjeuner) means "little lunch".
Okay, so for now just keep revising these and next time I update (no idea when that will be) I'll put up how to say ' I drink' and a list of food and drink you can put into your sentences!
And dont forget to keep revising the stuff from before too because that's just as important. But for now....Au revoir!
